Vision Goals
An efficient, effective government is present.
The number of independent taxing districts is reduced.
Government is derived from an informed, active electorate, representing a healthy multi-party system.
Local governments, whether separate, consolidated or partically consolidated have both district and at-large representation on the Greenville County Council.
Benchmarks
Consolidate function of 15 independent taxing districts.
Reduce the number of Special Purpose Districts.
75% of registered voters vote in major elections.
